
Doğan Can Kırman, PhD
PostdocCan received his B.Sc. in Bioengineering from Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2015. He then continued with his Ph.D. studies in Cell and Molecular Biology at the National University of Singapore from where he graduated in 2021. During his Ph.D., Can studied the molecular mechanisms of the antiangiogenic role of ADAMTS5, using various cell culture and molecular biology techniques. As a postdoctoral research fellow, Can aims to utilize his training and experience to study the role of necroptosis in cancer and anti-tumor immunity. When not busy with lab work, Can enjoys scuba diving, cycling, and road trips.
