I earned my B.Sc. in Genetics and Bioengineering from Istanbul Bilgi university in 2021. My journey in biomedical research initially began when I presented my findings on the effect of frankincense essential oil on the telomerase expression of MCF7 and K562 cell lines at the INTEL ISEF 2016 science fair. Ever since, I have undertaken various internships and opportunities to establish a career in biomedical research. I joined the Najafov Lab in September 2022, where my mission is to understand necroptosis and its potential in developing immunotherapies.
